Participants in training courses for doctors and nurses in Vaucluse schools
Training in the diagnosis, management and referral of young girls with suspected endometriosis for national education teams.
The CEC is involved in training school doctors and nurses throughout the Vaucluse département. In conjunction with the ENDOSUD PACA regional network, the aim is to improve diagnosis of the pathology from the earliest age, ensure appropriate care and avoid therapeutic wandering, which can have a major impact.
Front-line care is essential, and we support projects that aim to raise awareness and train professionals who, in turn, will be able to raise awareness among all school staff, respond appropriately and initiate the first diagnostic steps.
CEC has already given presentations to high school students and teachers. This has generated numerous exchanges and enabled us to adapt the information to the expectations of young people, who are often directly or indirectly confronted with the pathology.
Because any initiative dedicated to improving the care pathway and, where appropriate, the speed of treatment for patients suffering from complex forms of the disease, whose impact is sometimes irreversible in adulthood, deserves to be supported, we are responding.
Nearly 80 professionals attended the event.
