The CEC is actively involved in and supports initiatives designed to raise awareness among healthcare professionals.

20ème semaine européenne de prévention et d’information sur l’endométriose du 4 au 10 Mars 2024

The Manoléta association initiated a dedicated event for healthcare professionals, which took place on March 9, 2024 and brought together a large number of professionals on the site of the Urbain V polyclinic at 47 chemin du pont des 2 eaux in Avignon.

In 2022, the presentation of the national strategy to combat endometriosis marked a new awareness on the part of the political bodies in place, and set the course for all the active organizations.

The complexity of caring for patients with endometriosis means that all care providers must be involved.

The aim is to enable the healthcare professionals present to be informed and to play an active role in the dynamics of this care.

The CEC, which has received a favorable opinion from the ARS for its application as a Referral Center for Surgery, at the prefiguration stage of the network, is part of the structured and accessible graded care offer.

Speakers at the first ENDOSUD day

La 1^e édition de la journée du dispositif ENDOSUD a eu lieu le 15 décembre 2023 au Centre des congrès d’Aix-en-Provence.

This one-day event, organized with the support of ARS PACA, was aimed at healthcare professionals involved in the care of endometriosis sufferers.

The aim was to pass on up-to-date medical knowledge, as well as information on the organization of care in the PACA region and an exchange with user associations.

Numerous participants were able to exchange views on these subjects.

Participating in the training of health professionals is a priority for the ECC

The CEC participates in the training of gynecologists, attending physicians and midwives in partnership with EDUPRAT and the MANOLETA association. L' Endometriosis: Never Give Up! (MANOLETA) and Les méno métrorragies de l'adolescence (EDUPRAT) brought together professionals from all over France.

Endora Project

The CEC is currently participating in the ENDORA 2 study in partnership with the Clermont-Ferrand University Hospital and the SURGAR company. This is the first step in the use of augmented reality allowing the surgeon to see inside the pelvic organs using a software mixing MRI imaging with the image seen in laparoscopy. Currently, this feasibility study concerns only uterine myomas. More information is available from the CEC.

Towards more collaboration

The CEC has set up multidisciplinary meetings that can be accessed remotely via the ROFIM platform, to enable as many specialists as possible to have access to the RCP, and to obtain a rapid opinion with an immediate RCP form. The platform enables images to be downloaded securely, so that they can be re-read during the RCP and a suitable course of treatment proposed. Tele-expertise is also possible.
